Kabiru Udoka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okorie Aro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Rabiu Bamgbelu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kabiru Udoka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okorie Aro in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Rabiu Bamgbelu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hammed Aiyetan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinobi Agamalafiya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hammed Aiyetan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. West 6 FC's Okorie Aro got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Okorie Aro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Okorie Aro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kabiru Udoka. That made the score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play.

Rangers United F.C's Kabiru Udoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okorie Aro in the 54th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Nkadi Abwo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of West 6 FC's Hammed Aiyetan. Hammed Aiyetan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. West 6 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tijjani Zubairu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kabiru Udoka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 played minutes Rangers United F.C got a freekick which was hit by Chimaobim Akinwunmi. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Stanley Arinze Dickson managed to get in a good position for a shot. West 6 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanley Arinze Dickson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Okorie Aro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kabiru Udoka having to interfere. If Okorie Aro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Chioke Zubairu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rangers United F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Chioke Zubairu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hammed Aiyetan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rangers United F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for West 6 FC.
