Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robai Julius Eromoigbe took the kick off in the first half of the match. Robai Julius Eromoigbe scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kabiru Udoka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robai Julius Eromoigbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Kabiru Udoka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kabiru Udoka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bimbo Nworgu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute, Magnus Ukaoha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kabiru Udoka was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Rangers United F.C's zone, Robai Julius Eromoigbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kabiru Udoka came out of the goal and Robai Julius Eromoigbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Magnus Ukaoha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rangers United F.C's Kabiru Udoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robai Julius Eromoigbe in the 37th minute of play. Kabiru Udoka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robai Julius Eromoigbe in the 44th minute of the match. Robai Julius Eromoigbe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rabiu Bamgbelu to make the kick off. The supporters of Stonehouse booed when Rangers United F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabiu Bamgbelu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rangers United F.C's Kabiru Udoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Ukaoha in the 69th minute of play. Kabiru Udoka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Ukaoha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robai Julius Eromoigbe struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Kabiru Udoka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stonehouse. If Magnus Ukaoha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robai Julius Eromoigbe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Kabiru Udoka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 78th minute Magnus Ukaoha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kabiru Udoka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kabiru Udoka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magnus Ukaoha's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Kabiru Udoka was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Magnus Ukaoha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Magnus Ukaoha really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Ukaoha in the 88th minute of play forced Rangers United F.C's goalkeeper Kabiru Udoka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Magnus Ukaoha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mattew Adekanmi during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stonehouse's Mattew Adekanmi got a free kick in the 96th minute. Stonehouse's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
