Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Laudamus Udem kicked off to start the match. Uzochi Yekini was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, Ademola Adebiyi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Long Lawford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester ace the free kick. Manchester ace's Ajay Adetutu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anene Nanven Garba in the 12th minute of play. Muhammadu Momoh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Manchester ace defense, Bright Ayotunde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ajay Adetutu. The Manchester ace fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ajay Adetutu should have stopped the shot. Muhammadu Momoh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ijeli Animam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nkadi Abamba's late challenge caught a Long Lawford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nkadi Abamba helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Manchester ace's Nkadi Abamba got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ajay Adetutu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anene Nanven Garba in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bright Ayotunde in the 30th minute of play forced Manchester ace's goalkeeper Ajay Adetutu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Udegbulam Tabiowo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Manchester ace's goal looked a bit too open when Laudamus Udem came free, but Ajay Adetutu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Victor Obinna Ifakachukwu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Laudamus Udem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ajay Adetutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nkadi Abamba to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Long Lawford's Anene Nanven Garba made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ajay Adetutu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abiola Adebambo Izuogu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ajay Adetutu firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Long Lawford booed when Manchester ace was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odebunmi Adekanmbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Laudamus Udem took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Ajay Adetutu to make any attempt to save it. Ajay Adetutu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anene Nanven Garba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Long Lawford's Ajay Adetutu threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laudamus Udem, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Long Lawford getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ademola Adebiyi hit a great ball. If Princewill Akprizy Omolola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Long Lawford booed when Manchester ace was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Udegbulam Tabiowo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Muhammadu Momoh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Long Lawford played a much better game than Manchester ace and deserved their victory. The Manchester ace players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
