Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robai Julius Eromoigbe started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Chinwemma Adebote shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nkemakolam Ezedinma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by JohnObi Obafuso during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. JohnObi Obafuso kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Stonehouse's goal looked a bit too open when Chinwemma Adebote came free, but Nkemakolam Ezedinma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nkemakolam Ezedinma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chinwemma Adebote's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Stonehouse's Mattew Adekanmi got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stonehouse's zone, Chinwemma Adebote stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nkemakolam Ezedinma came out of the goal and Chinwemma Adebote tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kunaiyi Onuabunchi charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kunaiyi Onuabunchi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Enjoy Yourself was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kunaiyi Onuabunchi to maneuver through the defense. Radomil Olender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bimbo Nworgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Robai Julius Eromoigbe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Radomil Olender was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Radomil Olender made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Robai Julius Eromoigbe sent off a good shot on target. Stonehouse's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bimbo Nworgu in the 36th minute. Bimbo Nworgu made a great header on Stonehouse's corner, it was just that Enjoy Yourself's Radomil Olender managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 40 minutes, Magnus Ukaoha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stonehouse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magnus Ukaoha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Enjoy Yourself's zone, Magnus Ukaoha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radomil Olender came out of the goal and Magnus Ukaoha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Dammy Shaba shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nkemakolam Ezedinma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Stonehouse getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mattew Adekanmi hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Ndidi Akinbiyi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nkemakolam Ezedinma skillfully saved the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Stonehouse's goal looked a bit too open when Chinwemma Adebote came free, but Nkemakolam Ezedinma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chinwemma Adebote to strike the kick off in the second half. Radomil Olender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robai Julius Eromoigbe in the 53rd minute of the match. Radomil Olender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robai Julius Eromoigbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 55th minute of the match Chioke Awoyo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Chioke Awoyo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 55th minute, Chioke Awoyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nkemakolam Ezedinma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chinwemma Adebote, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Enjoy Yourself's Nkemakolam Ezedinma threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chinwemma Adebote, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Magnus Ukaoha struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Radomil Olender didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stonehouse. When Stonehouse's Magnus Ukaoha in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Enjoy Yourself's goalie prevented a goal. Enjoy Yourself's Radomil Olender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robai Julius Eromoigbe in the 69th minute of play. Magnus Ukaoha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Olender having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Enjoy Yourself got a freekick which was hit by Ndidi Akinbiyi. In the 77thth minute of the game Chinwemma Adebote who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stonehouse's Nkemakolam Ezedinma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Stonehouse's Bimbo Nworgu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radomil Olender narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Stonehouse's Magnus Ukaoha got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute, Magnus Ukaoha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radomil Olender was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Enjoy Yourself's Radomil Olender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Ukaoha in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Stonehouse players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
