Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Onuchukwu Olerum made the kick off which started today's match. Clever Akpala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okorie Aro in the 3rd minute of play. West 6 FC's Hammed Aiyetan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save West 6 FC from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the game, Tajudeen Ajanaku was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diss's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West 6 FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Diss's Tajudeen Ajanaku got a free kick in the 13th minute. Clever Akpala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okorie Aro in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Diss was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osarobo Shittu to maneuver through the defense. Onuchukwu Olerum made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 17thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Hammed Aiyetan would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. A collision led to West 6 FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Stanley Arinze Dickson hit a great ball. The supporters of West 6 FC booed when Diss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onuchukwu Olerum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clever Akpala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tijjani Zubairu in the 30th minute of the match. Hammed Aiyetan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ositadimma Odiaka in the 32nd minute of the match. Hammed Aiyetan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Onuchukwu Olerum in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Diss's Osarobo Shittu got a free kick in the 39th minute. Okorie Aro took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clever Akpala. Clever Akpala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Hammed Aiyetan was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Ositadimma Odiaka capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ositadimma Odiaka really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Okorie Aro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tijjani Zubairu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Onuchukwu Olerum struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Hammed Aiyetan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diss. 56 minutes into the match, West 6 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ositadimma Odiaka came free, but Hammed Aiyetan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Onuchukwu Olerum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hammed Aiyetan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Okorie Aro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanley Arinze Dickson got free with Clever Akpala in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hammed Aiyetan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onuchukwu Olerum in the 70th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Osarobo Shittu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Diss's Clever Akpala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okorie Aro in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, West 6 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ositadimma Odiaka came free, but Hammed Aiyetan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Onuchukwu Olerum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Ositadimma Odiaka notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of West 6 FC's Hammed Aiyetan. Hammed Aiyetan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Onuchukwu Olerum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
