The crowd rose to their feet as Chinwemma Adebote kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ajay Adetutu. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Enjoy Yourself's goal looked a bit too open when Amauchechukwu Shagaya came free, but Radomil Olender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Princewill Akprizy Omolola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ime Sunday Egbanabo's late challenge caught a Manchester ace's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ime Sunday Egbanabo helped the player get up and apologised. 38 minutes into the match, Amauchechukwu Shagaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radomil Olender. Enjoy Yourself's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amauchechukwu Shagaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Radomil Olender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammadu Momoh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ayoade Eze hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chinwemma Adebote to make the kick off. Amauchechukwu Shagaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chioke Awoyo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Uzochi Yekini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Olender having to interfere. If Uzochi Yekini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radomil Olender made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Uzochi Yekini sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ime Omehia during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ajay Adetutu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kunaiyi Onuabunchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Uzochi Yekini notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Enjoy Yourself's Radomil Olender. Radomil Olender was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the match, Amauchechukwu Shagaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radomil Olender. Enjoy Yourself's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amauchechukwu Shagaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 76 minutes into the game, Amauchechukwu Shagaya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Radomil Olender was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Enjoy Yourself's Radomil Olender got control of the ball when Amauchechukwu Shagaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Enjoy Yourself was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chioke Awoyo to maneuver through the defense. When Udoka Akau fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enjoy Yourself's protests and gave Udoka Akau a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Manchester ace a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kevin Omanukwue, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Enjoy Yourself's Radomil Olender. 1-5. Amauchechukwu Shagaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Olender having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Chioke Awoyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uzochi Yekini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Olender having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Manchester ace left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Enjoy Yourself.
