Chuffing Hell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clever Amadasu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Peter Asiegbo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chukwuma Aatama went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Chukwuma Aatama managed to get in a good position for a shot. Earl Shilton's supporters rose to their feet, but Chukwuma Aatama was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Asiegbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emelogu Igwe in the 46th minute of play forced Chuffing Hell's goalkeeper Peter Asiegbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Emelogu Igwe made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Chuffing Hell getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ginikanwa Acholonu hit a great ball. Benson Munachi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benson Munachi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ginikanwa Acholonu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 79th minute, Gorom Idachaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Earl Shilton's goal looked a bit too open when Ginikanwa Acholonu came free, but Benson Munachi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Nwakamma Onwuachi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benson Munachi skillfully saved the ball. Chuffing Hell's Peter Asiegbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Chuffing Hell from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Chuffing Hell booed when Earl Shilton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gorom Idachaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Asiegbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emelogu Igwe, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
