Spectators: 10849 (Terracing: 8138, Seating: 2495, VIP seats: 216) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kingsley Apam took the kick off in the first half of the match. Olawale Dimeji came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Cheddar's Kingsley Apam. But to his dismay, Kingsley Apam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson-Arantes Okocha in the 13th minute of play forced Cheddar's goalkeeper Somadina Okeke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olawale Dimeji made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kingsley Apam in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Ogunmola Olagoke Ohajuruka made a precise shot to the right of Olawale Dimeji. OK8CHA MZT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 30 minutes into the match, OK8CHA MZT's goalkeeper Olawale Dimeji had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adegun Chimezie Akandu. 32 minutes into the match, OK8CHA MZT's goal looked a bit too open when Ogunmola Olagoke Ohajuruka came free, but Olawale Dimeji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olawale Dimeji made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Adegun Chimezie Akandu sent off a good shot on target. After 38 minutes of play, OK8CHA MZT's Kelvin Nwogu made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Somadina Okeke was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Guy Monzon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Somadina Okeke was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Monzon in the 44th minute of play forced Cheddar's goalkeeper Somadina Okeke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Edson-Arantes Okocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Somadina Okeke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guy Monzon to strike the kick off in the second half. Kelvin Nwogu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Somadina Okeke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Cheddar's goal looked a bit too open when Edson-Arantes Okocha came free, but Somadina Okeke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Somadina Okeke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy Monzon in the 61st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Ogunmola Olagoke Ohajuruka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes Cheddar got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Oxel. In the 76thth minute of the game Guy Monzon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheddar's Somadina Okeke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cheddar were furious when Tansu Cesur was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 88 minutes into the match, Cheddar's goal looked a bit too open when Guy Monzon came free, but Somadina Okeke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Guy Monzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Somadina Okeke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. OK8CHA MZT played a much better game than Cheddar and deserved their victory. The Cheddar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
