Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emelogu Igwe took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Gorom Ndupuechi fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sutton Valence's protests and gave Gorom Ndupuechi a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Sutton Valence got a freekick which was hit by Gorom Ndupuechi. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Emelogu Igwe took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ajuluchukwu Gulma to make any attempt to save it. Sutton Valence's Azuka Obasa got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emelogu Igwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ajuluchukwu Gulma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Azuka Obasa in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benson Munachi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the game, Sutton Valence's Nwachukwu Onyeomereneche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benson Munachi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Benson Munachi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azuka Obasa in the 26th minute of the match. Sutton Valence's Ajuluchukwu Gulma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Sutton Valence from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd match minute, Sutton Valence was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gorom Ndupuechi to maneuver through the defense. Emelogu Igwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ajuluchukwu Gulma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sutton Valence's Ezekiel Ademodi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Earl Shilton. Benson Munachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azuka Obasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Azuka Obasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Benson Munachi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ajuluchukwu Gulma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emelogu Igwe in the 43rd minute of the match. Ajuluchukwu Gulma came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Earl Shilton's Clever Amadasu. But to his dismay, Clever Amadasu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Sutton Valence's Ajuluchukwu Gulma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Sutton Valence from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Azuka Obasa made the kick off in the second half. Azuka Obasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Benson Munachi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benson Munachi made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Azuka Obasa sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the game, Nwachukwu Onyeomereneche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sutton Valence's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Earl Shilton the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Sutton Valence was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nwachukwu Onyeomereneche to maneuver through the defense. Ajuluchukwu Gulma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clever Amadasu in the 59th minute of the match. Benson Munachi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nwachukwu Onyeomereneche in the 64th minute. In the 66th play minute Azuka Obasa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benson Munachi. 2-2. Gorom Idachaba kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Azuka Obasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benson Munachi having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Ubanwa Aiyetan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Earl Shilton and the Sutton Valence players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ubanwa Aiyetan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Emelogu Igwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ajuluchukwu Gulma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Azuka Obasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Azuka Obasa took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Benson Munachi to make any attempt to save it. Azuka Obasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Benson Munachi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sutton Valence had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
