The audience was convinced that Adegun Chimezie Akandu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olisanugo Udoka was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Olisanugo Udoka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kingsley Apam in the 22nd minute of the match. Cheddar's Adegun Chimezie Akandu got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cheddar's Somadina Okeke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murtala Ikeh in the 44th minute of play.

Kingsley Apam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Olisanugo Udoka made a huge save. Kingsley Apam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olisanugo Udoka having to interfere. Kingsley Apam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
