Ajuluchukwu Gulma was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dumetochukwu Obeyera might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ajuluchukwu Gulma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dumetochukwu Obeyera ran back to his position shaking his head. Ajuluchukwu Gulma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chigo Abdu in the 25th minute of play. Nwachukwu Onyeomereneche succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Ezekiel Ademodi charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Gorom Ndupuechi hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Goson Temile put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ajuluchukwu Gulma. After the first half LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chigo Abdu was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sutton Valence getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Olufemi Semitoje hit a great ball. Chibuzo Mmoh hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Goson Temile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ajuluchukwu Gulma having to interfere. Goson Temile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ajuluchukwu Gulma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Chigo Abdu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ajuluchukwu Gulma having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Goson Temile kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ajuluchukwu Gulma. That made the score 2-6 in the 70 minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chibuzo Mmoh to maneuver through the defense. Chibuzo Mmoh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ajuluchukwu Gulma came out and tried to block the shot, but Chibuzo Mmoh slotted it home off the left post making it 2-7 in the 74th minute. In the 87th minute, Chigo Abdu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Goson Temile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ajuluchukwu Gulma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ajuluchukwu Gulma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Goson Temile showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-9 in the 93 minute of play. Ajuluchukwu Gulma was a little too slow when Okwii Nwoke got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-10. The Sutton Valence fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
