In the 3rd match minute, Flitwick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gbenga Edereho to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Emelogu Igwe from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Olisanugo Udoka's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emelogu Igwe got free with Olisanugo Udoka in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olisanugo Udoka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emelogu Igwe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clever Amadasu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benson Munachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duada Uzoezie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Duada Uzoezie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flitwick's supporters rose to their feet, but Duada Uzoezie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benson Munachi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clever Amadasu might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olisanugo Udoka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clever Amadasu ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Earl Shilton's goal looked a bit too open when Kwemto Alade Adeshina came free, but Benson Munachi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kwemto Alade Adeshina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chukwuma Aatama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Olisanugo Udoka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emelogu Igwe in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olisanugo Udoka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emelogu Igwe was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Earl Shilton's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Earl Shilton's Chukwuma Aatama was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With an all-out effort, Earl Shilton's Olisanugo Udoka threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emelogu Igwe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Flitwick's Olisanugo Udoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emelogu Igwe in the 37th minute of play. Olisanugo Udoka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emelogu Igwe, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clever Amadasu in the 41st minute of play forced Flitwick's goalkeeper Olisanugo Udoka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olisanugo Udoka made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Gorom Idachaba sent off a good shot on target. Olisanugo Udoka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gorom Idachaba's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the last second Olisanugo Udoka throw himself and got hold of the ball when Emelogu Igwe in the 44thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Olisanugo Udoka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emelogu Igwe in the 45th minute of play. Olisanugo Udoka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emelogu Igwe, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duada Uzoezie to strike the kick off in the second half. Segun Ozugu's late challenge caught a Flitwick's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segun Ozugu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Segun Ozugu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Flitwick's Kwemto Alade Adeshina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Duada Uzoezie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benson Munachi having to make a save. In the 75th match minute, Earl Shilton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segun Ozugu to maneuver through the defense. Benson Munachi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kwemto Alade Adeshina in the 78th minute. Onwughara Japhet was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Earl Shilton:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Flitwick:s goal. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Flitwick. Murtala Ikeh stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benson Munachi. 2-2. 89 minutes into the game, Earl Shilton's Clever Amadasu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olisanugo Udoka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After 93 played minutes Earl Shilton got a freekick which was hit by Gorom Idachaba. 96 minutes into the match, Earl Shilton's goal looked a bit too open when Duada Uzoezie came free, but Benson Munachi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Flitwick players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Earl Shilton.
