Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chizuoke Semitoje kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Titilayo Zeigbo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chuffing Hell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thatcham the free kick. In the 6th match minute, Chuffing Hell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Titilayo Zeigbo to maneuver through the defense. Thatcham's Chinwenma Okiche got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chuffing Hell's Peter Asiegbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Chuffing Hell from getting a goal against them. After 14 minutes, Matthew Obibi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thatcham and the Chuffing Hell players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Thatcham got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Obibi. In the 16th minute, Chizuoke Semitoje got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chizuoke Semitoje in the 18th minute of play forced Thatcham's goalkeeper Inaku Abioye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chinwenma Okiche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Inaku Abioye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ginikanwa Acholonu in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Chuffing Hell's goalkeeper Peter Asiegbo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Onyeka Layeni. In the 29thth minute of the game Chinwenma Okiche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuffing Hell's Peter Asiegbo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Onyeka Layeni's late challenge caught a Chuffing Hell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Onyeka Layeni helped the player get up and apologised. Onyeka Layeni hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Peter Asiegbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chinwenma Okiche in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Ginikanwa Acholonu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inaku Abioye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Asiegbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthew Obibi in the 38th minute of play. Chuffing Hell's Peter Asiegbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Chuffing Hell from getting a goal against them. Peter Asiegbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chinwenma Okiche in the 46th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Chuffing Hell:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Thatcham:s goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Ginikanwa Acholonu made the kick off in the second half. Peter Asiegbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onyeka Layeni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chuffing Hell's Peter Asiegbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chinwenma Okiche in the 58th minute of play. Thatcham's Chinwenma Okiche got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Ginikanwa Acholonu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Chinwenma Okiche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Chuffing Hell's goal looked a bit too open when Onyeka Layeni came free, but Peter Asiegbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes Thatcham got a freekick which was hit by Chinwenma Okiche. Chizuoke Semitoje received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Inaku Abioye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Asiegbo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Onyeka Layeni went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 97th match minute, Thatcham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onyeka Layeni to maneuver through the defense. Thatcham were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chuffing Hell for a fine match.
