They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Afolabi Onoja scored 0-8 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inaku Abioye, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wise Monye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chinwenma Okiche in the 82nd minute of the match. Inaku Abioye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afolabi Onoja, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Chiazagomekpere Gana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thatcham's Inaku Abioye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathew Ayongo in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Thatcham booed when LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiazagomekpere Gana didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Chinwenma Okiche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
