In the 36th minute Zaid Rhanem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mokhtar Faris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mokhtar Faris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 played minutes Marrakech Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Usaden Kacemi. With a little luck, Marrakech Atletico's Mokhtar Faris got control of the ball when Mennad El Zhar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marrakech Atletico's Mokhtar Faris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaid Rhanem in the 69th minute of play. Zaid Rhanem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mokhtar Faris having to interfere. Awrib El Zhar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Najim Boutarbouch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 100th minute, Youmni Ahanfouf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Marrakech Atletico players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
