Spectators: 6746 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Itri Benaskar got the match started through his kick off. Ahmad El Kaoutar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Itri Benaskar in the 3rd minute of play. Ahmad El Kaoutar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahir Abdelghani in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rabat's Anir Jermouni got a free kick in the 8th minute. Fès Maghreb's Yufitran Mousaber couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rabat. Abdellatif Ammi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sajed Madih in the 16th minute of play. When Rahim Aboub fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fès Maghreb's protests and gave Rahim Aboub a yellow card for diving instead. Rahim Aboub hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Abdellatif Ammi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sajed Madih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Itri Benaskar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Itri Benaskar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fès Maghreb's zone, Talal Hamdani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdellatif Ammi came out of the goal and Talal Hamdani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mahir Abdelghani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fès Maghreb getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mazine Bouhaja hit a great ball. Sajed Madih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fès Maghreb's Abdellatif Ammi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sajed Madih in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ahmad El Kaoutar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mahir Abdelghani in the 53rd minute. Itri Benaskar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Fès Maghreb's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mahir Abdelghani took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmad El Kaoutar. Ahmad El Kaoutar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 68th minute, Mahir Abdelghani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sajed Madih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Abdellatif Ammi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mahir Abdelghani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahir Abdelghani might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmad El Kaoutar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mahir Abdelghani ran back to his position shaking his head. When Fès Maghreb's Itri Benaskar in 75 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ahmad El Kaoutar guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 76th minute, Zaid Ouchalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Itri Benaskar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Winsen Kacemi fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rabat's protests and gave Winsen Kacemi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, one of Rabat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rabat. Abdellatif Ammi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talal Hamdani in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Zaid Ouchalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Itri Benaskar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mahir Abdelghani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 played minutes Rabat got a freekick which was hit by Zaid Ouchalla. Ahmad El Kaoutar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Itri Benaskar in the 92nd minute of play. After 96 minutes, Zaid Ouchalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rabat and the Fès Maghreb players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Rabat got a freekick which was hit by Zaid Ouchalla. Mahir Abdelghani struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ahmad El Kaoutar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fès Maghreb. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fès Maghreb walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
