Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Soubhi Ammi kicked off to start the match. Wali Chakir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monir Bendriss hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Atbir Sektioui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Wali Chakir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tangier Renaissance's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wali Chakir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soubhi Ammi in the 20th minute of play forced Marrakech Chabab's goalkeeper Abdelhafiz Armoumen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelhafiz Armoumen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soubhi Ammi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Tangier Renaissance's goal looked a bit too open when Atbir Sektioui came free, but Moustafa Lahoua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tangier Renaissance's zone, Atbir Sektioui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moustafa Lahoua came out of the goal and Atbir Sektioui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ajeddig Jermouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Marrakech Chabab's goalkeeper Abdelhafiz Armoumen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wali Chakir. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ajeddig Jermouni made a kick off. Atbir Sektioui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Moustafa Lahoua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Ajeddig Jermouni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moustafa Lahoua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ajeddig Jermouni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marrakech Chabab's supporters rose to their feet, but Ajeddig Jermouni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moustafa Lahoua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ajeddig Jermouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Atbir Sektioui came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Marrakech Chabab fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atbir Sektioui couldn't finish the play. Wali Chakir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moustafa Lahoua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atbir Sektioui in the 84th minute. In the 91st minute, Wali Chakir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdelhafiz Armoumen came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Tangier Renaissance's Wali Chakir. But to his dismay, Wali Chakir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tangier Renaissance's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
