The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fatih Hamidouch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Dolmi having to interfere. Tayeb Dolmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmane Taouni, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of El Jadida booed when Oujda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ajeddig Amchaibou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fatih Hamidouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Oujda getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ajeddig Amchaibou hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Camil Oussalah sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tayeb Dolmi skillfully saved the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Oujda's goal looked a bit too open when Osmane Taouni came free, but Tayeb Dolmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Osmane Taouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Fatih Hamidouch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When El Jadida's Osmane Taouni in 26 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tayeb Dolmi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, El Jadida's Saif Bendriss got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Oujda booed when El Jadida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saif Bendriss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yahya El Bahri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izil Ataba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tayeb Dolmi came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by El Jadida's Osmane Taouni. But to his dismay, Osmane Taouni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Oujda's Tayeb Dolmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmane Taouni in the 42nd minute of play. Yahya El Bahri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izil Ataba in the 53rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Izil Ataba in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yahya El Bahri saved El Jadida from getting behind. Izil Ataba took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yahya El Bahri. Yahya El Bahri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 67th match minute, Oujda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ajeddig Amchaibou to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Oujda's zone, Osmane Taouni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayeb Dolmi came out of the goal and Osmane Taouni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oujda's Nouri Hadaouir got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Usem Belhaj kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Izil Ataba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahya El Bahri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nouri Hadaouir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yahya El Bahri having to interfere. Izil Ataba struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Yahya El Bahri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oujda. After a rather tough play, Oujda's Aslal El Khattabi got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Osmane Taouni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Oujda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Badis Belhaj to maneuver through the defense. Oujda's Tayeb Dolmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmane Taouni in the 98th minute of play. Amanar Hamdani hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izil Ataba in the 102nd minute of play forced El Jadida's goalkeeper Yahya El Bahri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
