Jamil Obbadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Younes Taouni in the 5th minute of the match. Jamil Obbadi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amalu Ezzine in the 7th minute. Maysar Fakhir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jamil Obbadi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Amalu Ezzine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bilal El Emmani hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Younes Taouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamil Obbadi having to interfere. The corner led Rabat Étoile's Azhar Boutayeb to fire away a dangerous shot which Saif Doulyazal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amalu Ezzine got free with Jamil Obbadi in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Rabat Étoile's Ziad Bidoudane got a free kick in the 46th minute. Younes Taouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jamil Obbadi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Younes Taouni made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amalu Ezzine in the 55th minute of play forced Rabat Étoile's goalkeeper Jamil Obbadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Izemrasen El Hadrioui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Younes Taouni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 played minutes Imzouren got a freekick which was hit by Ralib Kharja. Rachid Hissou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saif Doulyazal having to interfere. Rachid Hissou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Saif Doulyazal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Amalu Ezzine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imzouren's supporters rose to their feet, but Amalu Ezzine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamil Obbadi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Imzouren booed when Rabat Étoile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salaheddine Bendahman didn't get a good kick on the ball.
