Sami Benzouin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Safwane El Baz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Benzouin in the 5th minute of play forced Er Rachidia Kawkab's goalkeeper Safwane El Baz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Sami Benzouin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Safwane El Baz was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 11th minute Khouribga Union Sportive were awarded a corner. Misifsen El Idrissi went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Khouribga Union Sportive's Meissour El Ouaryaghli got a free kick in the 11th minute. Er Rachidia Kawkab's Safwane El Baz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Benzouin in the 14th minute of play. Khouribga Union Sportive's Sami Benzouin got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Safwane El Baz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Benzouin in the 17th minute of the match. Talal Sektioui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahir Lohkmiri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahir Lohkmiri got free with Talal Sektioui in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Khouribga Union Sportive's goalkeeper Talal Sektioui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monir Mehdi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meissour El Ouaryaghli in the 30th minute of play forced Er Rachidia Kawkab's goalkeeper Safwane El Baz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Meissour El Ouaryaghli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Khouribga Union Sportive's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meissour El Ouaryaghli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Usaden Yaacoubi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Khouribga Union Sportive's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Er Rachidia Kawkab the free kick. The supporters of Er Rachidia Kawkab booed when Khouribga Union Sportive was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Usaden Yaacoubi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Khouribga Union Sportive's Misifsen El Idrissi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 43rd minute Meissour El Ouaryaghli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safwane El Baz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sami Benzouin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Monir Mehdi made a kick off. Monir Mehdi struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Talal Sektioui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Er Rachidia Kawkab. Khouribga Union Sportive's Meissour El Ouaryaghli got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Monir Mehdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Usaden Yaacoubi kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Sami Benzouin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Safwane El Baz made a huge save. Meissour El Ouaryaghli might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Safwane El Baz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meissour El Ouaryaghli ran back to his position shaking his head. Monir Mehdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Usaden Yaacoubi got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Khouribga Union Sportive getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Usaden Yaacoubi hit a great ball. The Khouribga Union Sportive players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Er Rachidia Kawkab from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
