Haitham Iajour came out of the goal and Nouman Arrafi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Misbah Ait Omar hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Ajeddig Dirar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Larache Wydad's Awzal El Bahri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Larache Wydad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gulusa Bouhaja to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th match minute, Asilah Najm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winifsan Bosaroukh to maneuver through the defense. Chakib El Morabet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Awzal El Bahri having to interfere. A collision led to Larache Wydad getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gulusa Bouhaja hit a great ball. If Issam Armoumen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Chakib El Morabet in the 55th minute of play forced Larache Wydad's goalkeeper Awzal El Bahri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chakib El Morabet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Awzal El Bahri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Nouman Arrafi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asilah Najm's Haitham Iajour was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Larache Wydad booed when Asilah Najm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chakib El Morabet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ajeddig Dirar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Awzal El Bahri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Awzal El Bahri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chakib El Morabet in the 78th minute of the match. After 79 minutes, Gulusa Bouhaja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larache Wydad and the Asilah Najm players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gulusa Bouhaja hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Chakib El Morabet came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Asilah Najm fans jumped to their feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chakib El Morabet in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Awzal El Bahri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Issam Armoumen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Larache Wydad's supporters rose to their feet, but Issam Armoumen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haitham Iajour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
