The referee ignored Tiznit Kawkab's protests and gave Housni El Moubarki a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Haitham El Khayati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sajed Harthan was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 24th match minute, Tiznit Kawkab was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Massinissa El Emmani to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Kenitra's Rami El Ghrib got control of the ball when Boutahar Arrafi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sayid El Brazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sajed Harthan having to interfere. Housni El Moubarki hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Rami El Ghrib was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Mazine Louissi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiznit Kawkab's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazine Louissi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rami El Ghrib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mazine Louissi made a kick off. Tiznit Kawkab's Sajed Harthan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Tiznit Kawkab from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Kenitra's zone, Boutahar Arrafi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rami El Ghrib came out of the goal and Boutahar Arrafi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Boutahar Arrafi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rami El Ghrib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazine Louissi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazine Louissi in the 67th minute of play forced Kenitra's goalkeeper Rami El Ghrib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenitra's Rami El Ghrib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazine Louissi in the 70th minute of play. Sajed Harthan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haitham El Khayati, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 94 minutes, Mamoun Bendahman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kenitra and the Tiznit Kawkab players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tiznit Kawkab's Fadel Kantari got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tiznit Kawkab fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kenitra had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
