The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jalal Ben Barek during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Al-Hoceima got a freekick which was hit by Jalal Ben Barek. Adil Taouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Atrar Nouhass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raja El Mrini in the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Magher Oulhaj managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oujda Stade's supporters rose to their feet, but Magher Oulhaj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wassim Jadid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Al-Hoceima fans cheered their team off the field, for while Oujda Stade had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
