Ibrahim El Khayati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Asilah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ayrad El Amrani to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 25 minutes, Magher Kacemi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taroudant Union Sportive's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magher Kacemi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Yani Lamyaghri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fouad Kouha in the 30th minute of play forced Taroudant Union Sportive's goalkeeper Azulay Dolmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yani Lamyaghri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Yani Lamyaghri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asilah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yani Lamyaghri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Taroudant Union Sportive's zone, Fouad Kouha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azulay Dolmi came out of the goal and Fouad Kouha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Yani Lamyaghri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ibrahim El Khayati stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Fouad Kouha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ibrahim El Khayati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Misifsen Kissi having to interfere. Azulay Dolmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yani Lamyaghri in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fouad Kouha in the 68th minute of play forced Taroudant Union Sportive's goalkeeper Azulay Dolmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Yazid Zniti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magher Kacemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Misifsen Kissi having to interfere. Taroudant Union Sportive's Ibrahim El Khayati got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute Ibrahim El Khayati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Misifsen Kissi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Taroudant Union Sportive's Ibrahim El Khayati dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In the 88th minute, Yani Lamyaghri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asilah fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
