In the 20th minute, Daoud Fehla sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ben Taib's Taha El Bounadi didn't even have to move. Sajed El Kaddouri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Massinissa El Baz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sajed El Kaddouri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassan Ziyati in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Ben Taib booed when Azrou Chabab was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amalu Azzouzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sajed El Kaddouri came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ben Taib's Massinissa El Baz. But to his dismay, Massinissa El Baz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 40th minute, Massinissa El Baz made a precise shot to the right of Sajed El Kaddouri. Azrou Chabab's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hassan Ziyati in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sajed El Kaddouri saved Azrou Chabab from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Winitran Ouhaki to make the kick off. Nasseh Jadid was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Massinissa El Baz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 55 minutes, Hassan Ziyati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ben Taib's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hassan Ziyati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hassan Ziyatis short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Sajed El Kaddouri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Ben Taib's zone, Amalu Azzouzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taha El Bounadi came out of the goal and Amalu Azzouzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Azrou Chabab's Daoud Fehla got a free kick in the 67th minute. Azrou Chabab's Sajed El Kaddouri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Massinissa El Baz in the 74th minute of play.
