Ayman Akaaboune fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sisangh Talih having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ayman Akaaboune got free with Sisangh Talih in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ayman Akaaboune came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Khouribga Union Sportive fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ayman Akaaboune couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Irat Hamdani during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saden Nouhass to make the kick off. The supporters of Beni Mellal Tihad booed when Khouribga Union Sportive was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nouri Abdellaoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Abdelkarim Tahiri sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Khouribga Union Sportive's Yuften Sarraj didn't even have to move.
