Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atbir Sinouh kicked off to start the match. Ashraf Zerka stood somewhat misplaced when Jawad Bidouane came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 3 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Najim Ouaddou in the 9th minute of play forced Safi's goalkeeper Badr El Idrissi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sayid Dolmis short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Ashraf Zerka to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jawad Bendahman in the 13th minute of play forced FC GLM's goalkeeper Ashraf Zerka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes FC GLM got a freekick which was hit by Atbir Merzouk. Ashraf Zerka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jawad Bidouane in the 17th minute. Atbir Sinouh hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. FC GLM's Ashraf Zerka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jawad Bidouane in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jawad Bendahman got free with Ashraf Zerka in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Najim Ouaddou hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Safi were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after FC GLM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Izri El Mouataz took the corner. Sayid Dolmi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Ashraf Zerka made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jawad Bidouane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Safi's supporters rose to their feet, but Jawad Bidouane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ashraf Zerka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Soufian Bosaroukh fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Safi's protests and gave Soufian Bosaroukh a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Soufian Bosaroukh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Talal El Brazi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ashraf Zerka, 2-0. 39 minutes into the game, Zeineddine El Baz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC GLM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Safi the free kick. Zeineddine El Baz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Safi's Izri El Mouataz tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. FC GLM's Ashraf Zerka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jawad Bidouane in the 42nd minute of play. Ashraf Zerka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jawad Bidouane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, FC GLM's Ashraf Zerka got control of the ball when Sayid Dolmi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jawad Bidouane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ashraf Zerka having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jawad Bidouane was the one to do the kick off. When Jawad Bidouane came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Safi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jawad Bidouane couldn't finish the play. FC GLM's Ashraf Zerka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sayid Dolmi in the 56th minute of play. If Sayid Dolmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC GLM's Najim Ouaddou got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jawad Bidouane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sayid Dolmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashraf Zerka having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jawad Bidouane in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ashraf Zerka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jawad Bidouane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashraf Zerka having to interfere. If Sayid Dolmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC GLM's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
