With a left leg Youness Taouni saved Casablanca from getting behind. Berkane's Azerwal Zaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faouzi Falah in the 5th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nadir Aouita in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Youness Taouni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Youness Taouni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Soubhi Jbilou's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Youness Taouni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Soubhi Jbilou went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soubhi Jbilou in the 20th minute of play forced Casablanca's goalkeeper Youness Taouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azerwal Zaki made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Abdelkabir Boulami sent off a good shot on target. Youness Taouni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nadir Aouita in the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Berkane's zone, Abdelkabir Boulami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azerwal Zaki came out of the goal and Abdelkabir Boulami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Faouzi Falah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azerwal Zaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nadir Aouita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Cicungh Regragui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Soubhi Jbilou to make the kick off. In the 60th minute of the match Moustafa Settati shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Youness Taouni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Berkane's Soubhi Jbilou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Youness Taouni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Berkane's goalkeeper Azerwal Zaki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Berkane got a freekick which was hit by Abdelhafiz Fegrouch. 67 minutes into the match, Casablanca's goalkeeper Youness Taouni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nadir Aouita. Azerwal Zaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faouzi Falah, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Abdelkabir Boulami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berkane's Azerwal Zaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelkabir Boulami in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Berkane getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Asmun El Hirech hit a great ball. Abdelkabir Boulami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Casablanca supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Berkane's performance. The match ended with a win for Berkane.
