Spectators: 6749 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Saad Belabed kicked off to start the match. Afaw Bistara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaid Hamidouch in the 3rd minute of the match. Saad Belabed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Massinissa Ammi kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Younes Malki was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Essaouira's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Naoufal Abrami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Zaid Hamidouch came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the WLIDAT SALA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaid Hamidouch couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naoufal Abrami in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afaw Bistara saved Essaouira from getting behind. Zaid Hamidouch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afaw Bistara having to interfere. Naoufal Abrami might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afaw Bistara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Naoufal Abrami ran back to his position shaking his head. Naoufal Abrami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afaw Bistara having to interfere. Essaouira's Afaw Bistara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaid Hamidouch in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Naoufal Abrami managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WLIDAT SALA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naoufal Abrami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Naoufal Abrami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41stth minute of the game Naoufal Abrami who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Essaouira's Afaw Bistara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hassan Aini hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Afaw Bistara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naoufal Abrami, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After 47 played minutes Essaouira got a freekick which was hit by Mahdi Kharbouchi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaid Hamidouch in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afaw Bistara saved Essaouira from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Naoufal Abrami made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Saif Boukemouch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WLIDAT SALA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Essaouira the free kick. Essaouira's Saad Belabed got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ghalib Faris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Younes Malki in the 61st minute of play. Saad Belabed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ghalib Faris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Younes Malki struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ghalib Faris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Essaouira. Afaw Bistara made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Zaid Hamidouch sent off a good shot on target. Essaouira's Afaw Bistara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Essaouira from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Essaouira getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Abdelmajid Didouh hit a great ball. Zaid Hamidouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Younes Malki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Essaouira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Zaid Hamidouch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Afaw Bistara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Essaouira's zone, Naoufal Abrami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afaw Bistara came out of the goal and Naoufal Abrami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afaw Bistara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naoufal Abrami's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Essaouira's goalkeeper Afaw Bistara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaid Hamidouch. Zaid Hamidouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 98 minutes, Naoufal Abrami managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WLIDAT SALA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naoufal Abrami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the WLIDAT SALA FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Essaouira.
