The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Taza Stade's Boutahar Benkhirane got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Taza Stade fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Taza Stade's Atrar Zaki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jalal El Bahri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Najim Bouhaja, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Taza Stade's Jalal El Bahri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Taza Stade from getting a goal against them. Najim Bouhaja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Freedom Defenders's Agafay Hamdani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atrar Zaki in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Taza Stade booed when Freedom Defenders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anaruz El Hamdaoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ziyad Didouh during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Taza Stade booed when Freedom Defenders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziyad Didouh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afer El Khattabi hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Agafay Hamdani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atrar Zaki in the 43rd minute of play. When Boutahar Benkhirane came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Taza Stade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boutahar Benkhirane couldn't finish the play. After the first half Taza Stade were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Taza Stade's Hadji Kouha got a free kick in the 51st minute. Jalal El Bahri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias El Guarrouj in the 53rd minute of play. Taza Stade's Jalal El Bahri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelbassir Chretien in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Taza Stade getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hadji Kouha hit a great ball. Abdelbassir Chretien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Taza Stade defense, Najim Bouhaja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jalal El Bahri. The Taza Stade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jalal El Bahri should have stopped the shot. Atrar Zaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agafay Hamdani having to interfere. Agafay Hamdani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilal Miftah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Freedom Defenders fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Taza Stade were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
