Azilal Hillal's Malek El Mouataz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Azilal Hillal's zone, Abdelbassir Chretien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malek El Mouataz came out of the goal and Abdelbassir Chretien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agafay Hamdani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Obbadi in the 10th minute of the match. Khaled Touzani hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Khaled Touzani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Agafay Hamdani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aziz Obbadi took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agafay Hamdani. Agafay Hamdani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aziz Obbadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Khaled Touzani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azilal Hillal's supporters rose to their feet, but Khaled Touzani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agafay Hamdani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Freedom Defenders's Souleimane Armoumen got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th match minute, Freedom Defenders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afer El Khattabi to maneuver through the defense. Agafay Hamdani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aziz Obbadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Aziz Obbadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Azilal Hillal booed when Freedom Defenders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amin Zerouali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aziz Obbadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khaled Touzani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Agafay Hamdani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azilal Hillal's Malek El Mouataz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Azilal Hillal from getting a goal against them. If Najim Bouhaja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Aziz Obbadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agafay Hamdani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aziz Obbadi to strike the kick off in the second half. When Khaled Touzani came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Azilal Hillal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khaled Touzani couldn't finish the play. Aziz Obbadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Agafay Hamdani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Aziz Obbadi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelbassir Chretien in the 61st minute of play forced Azilal Hillal's goalkeeper Malek El Mouataz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agafay Hamdani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aziz Obbadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Freedom Defenders's zone, Aziz Obbadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agafay Hamdani came out of the goal and Aziz Obbadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Najim Bouhaja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malek El Mouataz was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Abdelbassir Chretien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Malek El Mouataz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After having played for 76 minutes, Abdelbassir Chretien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freedom Defenders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelbassir Chretien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Azilal Hillal's Malek El Mouataz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Najim Bouhaja in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Freedom Defenders getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Abdelbassir Chretien hit a great ball. If Aziz Obbadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelbassir Chretien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Malek El Mouataz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Talal Armoumen charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Talal Armoumen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Azilal Hillal's Talal Armoumen got a free kick in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelbassir Chretien in the 91st minute of play forced Azilal Hillal's goalkeeper Malek El Mouataz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aziz Obbadi in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Agafay Hamdani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Freedom Defenders's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
