The audience was convinced that Afra Aboub's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fahmi Boussoufa was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. F.C Nador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mohammedia the free kick. Jalal Bouden hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Aghbalu Khlifis short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Massin Soulaimani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afra Aboub to make the kick off.
