In the 24th minute Awzal Benkhirane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atbir Mahdoufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Yani Jermouni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atbir Mahdoufi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a left leg Yamine Abarou saved Atlas Lions from getting behind. A collision led to Atlas Lions getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Usem El Zhar hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Abdelhafiz Benaskar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yamine Abarou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlas Lions's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
