Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes Berkane got a freekick which was hit by Hisham Amchaibou. With an all-out effort, Berkane's Taher Abdelghani threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hisham Amchaibou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Nabil Alioui put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Taher Abdelghani. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nabil Alioui got free with Taher Abdelghani in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isul Baha's late challenge caught a Taza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isul Baha helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Berkane getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Isul Baha hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Berkane's goal looked a bit too open when Aghilas Bendriss came free, but Faouzi Erbati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monir Mokhtari might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faouzi Erbati. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Monir Mokhtari ran back to his position shaking his head. Aghilas Bendriss took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faouzi Erbati. Faouzi Erbati dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Taher Abdelghani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nizar El Yaagoubi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Monir Mokhtari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Faouzi Erbati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Rahim Tafersit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berkane the free kick. After a rather tough play, Taza's Rahim Tafersit got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Nabil Alioui's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Taher Abdelghani skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Taza's Taher Abdelghani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Taza from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Monir Mokhtari to strike the kick off in the second half. Taza's Rahim Tafersit got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faouzi Erbati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monir Mokhtari in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Nabil Alioui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taher Abdelghani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nabil Alioui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, Taza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monir Mokhtari to maneuver through the defense. Taher Abdelghani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hisham Amchaibou, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Nabil Alioui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berkane's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Monir Mokhtari 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Berkane's Nabil Alioui got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Berkane fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Berkane's Hisham Amchaibou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
