The supporters of Beni Mellal Renaissance booed when Er Rachidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelkabir Atif didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Mass Maaroufi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Badr Louissi. The goal made the score 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mass Maaroufi made a kick off. Mass Maaroufi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Badr Louissi having to interfere. Rouchd Benzouin might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sabri Taouni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rouchd Benzouin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th match minute, Er Rachidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saad Fegrouch to maneuver through the defense.
