Marrakech's Younes Aboub managed to work through Er Rachidia's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Younes Aboub dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Amezyan El Amrani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, Er Rachidia's goal looked a bit too open when Younes Aboub came free, but Badr Louissi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rouchd Benzouin to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Marrakech's goal looked a bit too open when Tanan Rabeh came free, but Saad Safri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amezyan El Amrani ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the match, Er Rachidia's goalkeeper Badr Louissi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Younes Aboub. Badr Louissi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amezyan El Amrani in the 80th minute of play. Saad Safri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rouchd Benzouin in the 81st minute of play. Amezyan El Amrani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Badr Louissi having to interfere. Er Rachidia's Badr Louissi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amezyan El Amrani in the 87th minute of play.
