Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Azhar Farras took the kick off in the first half of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Housni Arrafi couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the game, Meknès Amal Club's Housni Arrafi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raja Belabed made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Raja Belabed came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Meknès Amal Club's Atrar Aouita. But to his dismay, Atrar Aouita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Meknès Amal Club's Atrar Aouita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raja Belabed narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raja Belabed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Housni Arrafi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wydad Athletic Club's goalkeeper Raja Belabed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atrar Aouita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Housni Arrafi in the 42nd minute of play forced Wydad Athletic Club's goalkeeper Raja Belabed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Housni Arrafi made a kick off. Salim Chakir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Izri Bendriss, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The referee ignored Wydad Athletic Club's protests and gave Izri Bendriss a yellow card for diving instead. Izri Bendriss hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atrar Aouita got free with Raja Belabed in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salim Chakir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asmun El Ahmadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Meknès Amal Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
