Valdo Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Soufian El Hadrioui having to interfere. 俞杰城 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Soufian El Hadrioui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malek Safri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabri Farass fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Soufian El Hadrioui having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Nasri Zaki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the الرجاء العالمي and the Ben Taib players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, الرجاء العالمي was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasri Zaki to maneuver through the defense. Hisham Zaki was a little too slow when Meissour Kharja got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taoufiq Hadaouir in the 15th minute of play forced Ben Taib's goalkeeper Soufian El Hadrioui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Meissour Kharja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hisham Zaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Hisham Zaki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Ben Taib defense, Valdo Lira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Soufian El Hadrioui. The Ben Taib fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Soufian El Hadrioui should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Nasri Zaki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soufian El Hadrioui came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by الرجاء العالمي's Valdo Lira. But to his dismay, Valdo Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 俞杰城 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Soufian El Hadrioui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fouad El Bounadi came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Ben Taib fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fouad El Bounadi couldn't finish the play. The Ben Taib players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. الرجاء العالمي were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Meissour Kharja to make the kick off. 俞杰城 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Ben Taib got a freekick which was hit by Abdelkhaliq Bouden. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, 俞杰城 managed to get in a good position for a shot. الرجاء العالمي's supporters rose to their feet, but 俞杰城 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Soufian El Hadrioui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the الرجاء العالمي defense, Meissour Kharja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hisham Zaki. The الرجاء العالمي fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hisham Zaki should have stopped the shot. Soufian El Hadrioui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdo Lira in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Sabri Farass ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Soufian El Hadrioui was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Issam Madih charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Issam Madih the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of الرجاء العالمي booed when Ben Taib was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Issam Madih didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hisham Zaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fouad El Bounadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hisham Zaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fouad El Bounadi in the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Meissour Kharja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Hisham Zaki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the الرجاء العالمي players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
