But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nouman Ait Omar couldn't finish the play. Safwane Fellah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Naji Azaouagh went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Safwane Fellah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nouman Ait Omar, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chakib Chiba made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Ouarzazate Wifak's Abdelkabir Sarraj nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amanar Iajour made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdelkabir Sarraj in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amanar Iajour saved Guelmim Union from getting behind. When Daoud Hissou fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guelmim Union's protests and gave Daoud Hissou a yellow card for diving instead. Daoud Hissou kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Abdelkabir Sarraj came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ouarzazate Wifak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelkabir Sarraj couldn't finish the play. Guelmim Union's Amanar Iajour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelkabir Sarraj in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute, Chakib Chiba made a precise shot to the right of Amanar Iajour. Guelmim Union's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Abdelkabir Sarraj struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Amanar Iajour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ouarzazate Wifak. If Nouman Ait Omar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amanar Iajour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chakib Chiba in the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Guelmim Union booed when Ouarzazate Wifak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Ammi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdelkabir Sarraj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ouarzazate Wifak getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Chakib Chiba hit a great ball. Naji Azaouagh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Safwane Fellah made a huge save. If Nouman Ait Omar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ouarzazate Wifak were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Guelmim Union for a fine match.
