A collision led to wydad.ac getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Yuba Benthami hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Najid Mousaber in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Azerwal Sinouh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, wydad.ac's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhafiz El Mouataz came free, but Azerwal Sinouh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azerwal Sinouh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelhafiz El Mouataz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Najid Mousaber in the 32nd minute of play forced wydad.ac's goalkeeper Azerwal Sinouh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelhafiz El Mouataz was the one to do the kick off. The referee ordered Salah El Kaoutar off the ground. After 65 played minutes wydad.ac got a freekick which was hit by Salah El Kaoutar. Najid Mousaber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Azerwal Sinouh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes wydad.ac got a freekick which was hit by Raja Aini. Ayur Kharja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in wydad.ac's zone, Abdelhafiz El Mouataz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azerwal Sinouh came out of the goal and Abdelhafiz El Mouataz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Imzouren were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
