Spectators: 6758 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) Osmane Belmahjoub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamil Zerouali, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Salam Nouhass recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zouheir Kissi hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Osmane Belmahjoub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamil Zerouali in the 19th minute of play. Amanar Jilaidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Osmane Belmahjoub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osmane Belmahjoub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamil Zerouali in the 22nd minute of the match. When Essaouira's Talal Loutfi in 30 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Abdellatif Erbati guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Talal Loutfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Abdellatif Erbati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zouheir Kissi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdellatif Erbati having to make a save. In the 46th minute Essaouira were awarded a corner. Tahir Boutayeb went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Essaouira's Tahir Boutayeb to fire away a dangerous shot which Abdellatif Erbati despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mansour Zemmama took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abdellatif Erbati. Ifrane Atletico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Talal Loutfi made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ifrane Atletico's Abdellatif Erbati got control of the ball when Salam Nouhass tried to sneak it across the goal line. Essaouira's Osmane Belmahjoub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamil Zerouali in the 63rd minute of play. Kamil Zerouali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aderbal El Zhar fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ifrane Atletico's protests and gave Aderbal El Zhar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Aderbal El Zhar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Essaouira! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Ifrane Atletico. Chakib Lahoua stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Osmane Belmahjoub. 1-0. Salam Nouhass could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Abdellatif Erbati made a huge save. 96 minutes into the game, Salem El Hamdaoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ifrane Atletico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Essaouira the free kick. The supporters of Essaouira booed when Ifrane Atletico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salem El Hamdaoui didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute, Salem El Hamdaoui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 101 minutes into the match, Amanar Jilaidi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osmane Belmahjoub. Essaouira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amanar Jilaidi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
