In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maghrib de fes's goalkeeper Chokri Belhaj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maghrib de fes's Chokri Belhaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelkhaliq Lamari in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes of play, Taza's Zaid Yaacoubi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chokri Belhaj was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th match minute, Taza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atrar Tamsamani to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Taza defense, Antalas Doukali kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taher Merzouk. The Taza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Taher Merzouk should have stopped the shot. Salem Boutayeb lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Chokri Belhaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaid Yaacoubi in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Maghrib de fes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winaruz Harthan to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ayrad Rhanem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chokri Belhaj was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Maghrib de fes's goal looked a bit too open when Ayrad Rhanem came free, but Chokri Belhaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aksim Boughanem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aksim Boughanem made a kick off. When Antalas Doukali came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Maghrib de fes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antalas Doukali couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Taza's goal looked a bit too open when Aksim Boughanem came free, but Taher Merzouk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atrar Tamsamani hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A collision led to Maghrib de fes getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Antalas Doukali hit a great ball. Taher Merzouk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aksim Boughanem, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Chokri Belhaj was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ayrad Rhanem showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 72 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aksim Boughanem in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taher Merzouk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aksim Boughanem in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taher Merzouk saved Taza from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Ismael Sarsar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aksim Boughanem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Taza got a freekick which was hit by Malek Hadda. Winaruz Harthan's late challenge caught a Taza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Winaruz Harthan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Maghrib de fes's Winaruz Harthan got a free kick in the 85th minute. Taher Merzouk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aksim Boughanem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Maghrib de fes getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Afer El Karkouri hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Taza's Zaid Yaacoubi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chokri Belhaj. Chokri Belhaj yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. Taza were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Maghrib de fes's much stronger midfield.
