In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khenifra Union Sportive's goalkeeper Nasseh Kharbouchi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Abdelali Miftah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Khenifra Union Sportive's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ifrane Difaa the free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nour Boughanem couldn't finish the play. Nour Boughanem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nasseh Kharbouchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wakil Zemmama in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rami El Bahri saved Ifrane Difaa from getting behind. Rami El Bahri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rochdi Ouaddou in the 43rd minute of the match. Nour Boughanem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wakil Zemmama made a kick off. Rami El Bahri was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mohammad Bidoudane. Wakil Zemmama's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rami El Bahri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Rami El Bahri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wakil Zemmama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the match Asulil Ataba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nasseh Kharbouchi skillfully saved the ball. The Khenifra Union Sportive supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Khenifra Union Sportive would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
