Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yousri Hidiouad took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Idriss Mehdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ben Taib Wydad booed when Mohammedia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Othmane Bagui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Idriss Mehdi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azayku Boukhari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. When Idriss Mehdi came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ben Taib Wydad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Idriss Mehdi couldn't finish the play. Idriss Mehdi struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Azayku Boukhari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ben Taib Wydad. Ben Taib Wydad's Yousri Hidiouad got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chakir El Azhari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nadir Dolmi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute, Idriss Mehdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yousri Hidiouad in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Azayku Boukhari saved Mohammedia from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Yousri Hidiouad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Azayku Boukhari. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Azayku Boukhari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yousri Hidiouad, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salim Akachar during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Salim Akachar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Ben Taib Wydad's goal looked a bit too open when Agerzam Lamin came free, but Chakir El Azhari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nadir Dolmi was the one to do the kick off. Azayku Boukhari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanan Zaki in the 54th minute of play. Idriss Mehdi might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azayku Boukhari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Idriss Mehdi ran back to his position shaking his head. Idriss Mehdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azayku Boukhari having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mohammedia's Idriss Benzakour got a free kick in the 61st minute. Hilal Bezzai kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Yousri Hidiouad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azayku Boukhari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Mohammedia's goal looked a bit too open when Yousri Hidiouad came free, but Azayku Boukhari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azayku Boukhari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanan Zaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Azayku Boukhari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yousri Hidiouad in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Idriss Mehdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azayku Boukhari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azayku Boukhari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yousri Hidiouad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ben Taib Wydad's Yousri Hidiouad got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Idriss Mehdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ben Taib Wydad had played much better football throughout.
