After recieving a nice pass, Khenifra Union Sportive's Mohammad Bidoudane tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Ben Taib Wydad's goal looked a bit too open when Wakil Zemmama came free, but Chakir El Azhari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rochdi Ouaddou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Ben Taib Wydad got a freekick which was hit by Abdelkhaliq Molhamam. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rochdi Ouaddou got free with Chakir El Azhari in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Wakil Zemmama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ben Taib Wydad getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jamal Yaacoubi hit a great ball. Wakil Zemmama recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Ben Taib Wydad's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rochdi Ouaddou fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wakil Zemmama made a kick off. Wakil Zemmama recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Rochdi Ouaddou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chakir El Azhari was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 66thth minute of the game Wakil Zemmama who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ben Taib Wydad's Chakir El Azhari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 74 played minutes Ben Taib Wydad got a freekick which was hit by Idriss Mehdi. The long shot by Hilal Bezzai in the 79th minute really tested Nasseh Kharbouchi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ben Taib Wydad's goalkeeper Chakir El Azhari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Khenifra Union Sportive fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ben Taib Wydad had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
