After 4 played minutes, Ben Taib Wydad's Jamal Yaacoubi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Monir Jbilou came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ben Taib Wydad reached it. After a rather tough play, taronto 1879's Afra Abdessadki got a free kick in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salam Ait Omar during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Salam Ait Omar hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Hilal Bezzai fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ben Taib Wydad's protests and gave Hilal Bezzai a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ben Taib Wydad's Hilal Bezzai got a free kick in the 13th minute. Salam Ait Omar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chakir El Azhari having to interfere. Ben Taib Wydad's Chakir El Azhari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Ben Taib Wydad from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, taronto 1879's goal looked a bit too open when Yousri Hidiouad came free, but Monir Jbilou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monir Jbilou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yousri Hidiouad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ziyad Fenkar hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Chakir El Azhari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salam Ait Omar in the 27th minute of play. Afra Abdessadki was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ben Taib Wydad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Salam Ait Omar scored to the left of an out of position Chakir El Azhari, making the score, 1-1. Monir Jbilou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yousri Hidiouad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salam Ait Omar made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Ben Taib Wydad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamal Yaacoubi to maneuver through the defense. Ben Taib Wydad's Chakir El Azhari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afra Abdessadki in the 54th minute of play. If Idriss Mehdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ziyad Fenkar hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. taronto 1879's Salam Ait Omar got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Salam Ait Omar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tanan Zaki hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Salam Ait Omar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chakir El Azhari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Afra Abdessadki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hilal Bezzai got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Ben Taib Wydad getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Hilal Bezzai hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, taronto 1879's Azhar Talhaoui broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 83 played minutes Ben Taib Wydad got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Yaacoubi. 87 minutes into the match, Ben Taib Wydad's goal looked a bit too open when Salam Ait Omar came free, but Chakir El Azhari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monir Jbilou made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Idriss Mehdi sent off a good shot on target. Afra Abdessadki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chakir El Azhari having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Abdelkhaliq Molhamam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, taronto 1879's Azhar Talhaoui tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salam Ait Omar in the 96th minute of play forced Ben Taib Wydad's goalkeeper Chakir El Azhari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
