The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Awsim Benzoukan's late challenge caught a Khenifra Union Sportive's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a left leg Nasseh Kharbouchi saved Khenifra Union Sportive from getting behind. Chokri Regragui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelali Miftah in the 34th minute of play. Chokri Regragui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wakil Zemmama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rochdi Ouaddou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, Khenifra Union Sportive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziad Camacho to maneuver through the defense. Chokri Regragui was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Boutahar Ouhaki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boutahar Ouhaki really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wakil Zemmama stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chokri Regragui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelali Miftah in the 56th minute of the match. Rochdi Ouaddou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chokri Regragui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Afa Rwina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Betis Casablanca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khenifra Union Sportive the free kick. In the 61st minute, Afa Rwina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Misbah Jbilou hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Abdelali Miftah hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Daoud Jilaidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Khenifra Union Sportive's Boutahar Ouhaki got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Khenifra Union Sportive's Rochdi Ouaddou made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chokri Regragui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Betis Casablanca's Chokri Regragui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rochdi Ouaddou in the 81st minute of play. Khenifra Union Sportive's Abdelali Miftah got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute Wakil Zemmama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chokri Regragui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Khenifra Union Sportive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bukkus Farras to maneuver through the defense. Afer Abdessadki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Khenifra Union Sportive fans cheered their team off the field, for while Betis Casablanca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
