Stevie Theobald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lance Flower tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jake Pearch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lance Flower having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stevie Theobald in the 35th minute of play forced Flackwell Heath's goalkeeper Lance Flower to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Kimpton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Dwyer came free, but Spike Roebuck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Dwyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Flackwell Heath's Rory Woodhall got a free kick in the 45th minute. Lance Flower stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stevie Theobald 's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robin Dwyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kimpton AFC's Jake Pearch got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Kimpton AFC booed when Flackwell Heath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rory Woodhall didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Caleb Higgins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Flackwell Heath's goal looked a bit too open when Stevie Theobald came free, but Lance Flower reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 66 in the game by Caleb Higgins from a close distance when the talented Spike Roebuck managed to make a qualified save. Kimpton AFC's players were relieved. 0-1 became the score in the 67th minute when Robin Dwyer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Stevie Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Kimpton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Toby Cornish . The long shot by Matty Woodward in the 78th minute really tested Spike Roebuck 's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Robin Dwyer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Spike Roebuck . That made the score 0-2 in the 84 minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match Ciarán Wood sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Spike Roebuck skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kimpton AFC's zone, Robin Dwyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Spike Roebuck came out of the goal and Robin Dwyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Kimpton AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Flackwell Heath's performance. The match ended with a win for Flackwell Heath.
