Spectators: 6878 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1878, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Derek Coyle took the kick off in the first half of the match. Westerham's Kristopher Lovett got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Lanyon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Bowler having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Westerham's goal looked a bit too open when Derek Coyle came free, but Loyd Pearch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristopher Lovett hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Joshua Frost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Leon Bowler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Bastow charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Bastow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, John Bastow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loyd Pearch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carl Butterfield went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Westerham's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Butterfield came free, but Loyd Pearch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chesham FC's zone, Joshua Frost stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Bowler came out of the goal and Joshua Frost tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. John Bastow hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Loyd Pearch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Coyle in the 46th minute of play. When Carl Butterfield came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Chesham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Butterfield couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Lanyon was the one to do the kick off. Leon Bowler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Lanyon's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Derek Coyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westerham's Loyd Pearch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loyd Pearch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Coyle in the 61st minute of play. Alex Lanyon struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Leon Bowler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westerham. In the 66th minute, Alex Lanyon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joshua Frost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute Alex Lanyon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Bowler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joshua Frost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Derek Coyle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Loyd Pearch . The goal made the score 0-3. If Carl Butterfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Carl Butterfield managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chesham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Butterfield was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
