Spectators: 6850 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 0) Ashley Doherty made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes in the game, Des Moxon fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Steven Campbell having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Des Moxon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Steven Campbell. Flamengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Des Moxon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Little Comberton getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. William Fry hit a great ball. Victor Butt came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo's Wayne Roberts. But to his dismay, Wayne Roberts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 25th match minute, Little Comberton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Les George to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes Little Comberton got a freekick which was hit by Rowan Shaw . Des Moxon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Campbell having to interfere. Des Moxon in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Steven Campbell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Steven Campbell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Wiley , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Fry kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Wayne Roberts notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Little Comberton's Victor Butt . Victor Butt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ashley Doherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Butt having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimmy Wiley made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Wiley came free, but Steven Campbell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Little Comberton's Les George got a free kick in the 56th minute. Victor Butt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ashley Doherty in the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wayne Roberts got free with Victor Butt in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ashley Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Victor Butt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo's zone, Des Moxon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steven Campbell came out of the goal and Des Moxon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steven Campbell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimmy Wiley 's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley Doherty in the 87th minute of play forced Little Comberton's goalkeeper Victor Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wayne Roberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ashley Doherty came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ashley Doherty couldn't finish the play. The Little Comberton supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Flamengo's performance. The match ended with a win for Flamengo.
